Who We Are
Pfocus is headquartered in Phoenix, Arizona and provides Owners Representation and Project Management services throughout the United States. We have over 35 years of collaboratively guiding the planning, design and construction of public and private sector capital projects. During that span, Pfocus has generated a robust portfolio that consists of nearly $2 billion worth of high profile projects, including performing arts theaters, airports, museums, and convention centers. Our leadership and management approach maximize the talents of the project team, enfranchise stakeholders help deliver successful projects for the community.
Meet The Team
Rick Pfannenstiel
Principal
As a Principal of Pfocus, Rick blends his unique style, experience and knowledge to lead and manage the Project Team’s journey and deliver the Owner’s vision. He skillfully extracts the Client’s mission, identifies compatible resources to service these goals, and inspires the Team to perform their best. Rick has 35 years of experience in the planning, design and construction phases for nearly two billion dollars of capital projects in the aviation, cultural, and civic sectors. He is an architectural engineer and a registered professional electrical engineer.
Kurt Pfannenstiel
Project Manager and Business Development Manager
As a Project Manager at Pfocus, Kurt applies 10 years of experience in public sector capital projects and procedures. He joined Pfocus in 2019 and has worked on projects in both California and Arizona. With an emphasis on communication and team building, Kurt works closely with the owner and project team to ensure that key milestones are met and the project continues on the charted course. On the business development side, he also works to build relationships with owners and consultants in the cultural event and aviation space.
Chris Anaradian
Senior Project Manager
As a Senior Project Manager at Pfocus, Chris draws on over 25 years of leadership in Arizona’s public and institutional development sectors. He brings a deep understanding of capital project delivery, municipal operations, and real estate strategy to support clients in navigating complex planning, design, and construction efforts. Chris has led major initiatives as a city executive in Tempe, Queen Creek, and Glendale—ranging from urban infill and transportation planning to street, park, and utility infrastructure. With a steady, collaborative approach, he helps clients align capital investment with strategic goals.
